Oondiyu
Ingredients
100 gms Suran (Yam)
100 gms Kand (Purple Yam)
100 gms Mutter (Green Peas)
100 gms Kacha Kela (Raw Banana)
100 gms Ratalo (Sweet potato)
100 gms Tuvar (Pigeon Peas)
100 gms Potato
1 tbsp Sugar
100 gms Coconut
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1tsp Ajwain
Salt
For Muthiya
250 gms Methi leaves
100 gms Wheat flour
50 gms Besan
1 tbsp Sugar
100 gms Coconut
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tsp Ajwain
1 tsp Hing (Asafoetida)
1 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
Salt
Garnish
Lemon
Coriander
Procedure
For The Muthiyas
Clean and wash methi leaves cut them finely, put salt sugar besan, wheat flour, scrapped coconut, ginger garlic paste ajwain and hing. Knead and make small balls. Fry till done. Remove and keep aside.
For the oondiyu
Put oil in a vessel then add all the washed and cut vegetables, salt, sugar, scrapped coconut, ginger garlic paste,ajwain and red chilly powder. cook till done. Then add muthiyas. cook on a slow flame for a minute.Garnish with lime and coriander.
