Jalfrezi Chicken


Ingredients:

 For Chicken Marination: 
½ kg      Chicken  
1 Tbsp.  Vinegar 
1 tsp.     Red Chilli powder 
1 tsp.     Haldi Powder 
1 Tbsp.  Dhaniya-Jeera Powder 
Salt 
1 tsp.     GGG Paste

Mix all and marinate for 1 hour.

 ½ cup     Oil
2            Green Chilli chopped
1 tsp.     Cumin Seeds 
1 tsp.     Garlic chopped
3 Tbsp.  Brown Onion paste
½ cup    Tomato 
2 Tbsp.  Ketchup
½ cup    Water 2 Tbsp. Butter
1          Capsicum sliced
1          Onion sliced
1          Tomato sliced
4         Green Chillies sliced

To Garnish 
Coriander Leaves chopped

 Method:
Heat oil in a pan; add the Green Chillies, Jeera and chopped Garlic and fry. Once the Jeera begins to crackle add the Chicken and fry well. Add the Brown Onion paste and mix well. Add the Tomato Puree, Ketchup and mix well. Add the Water and cook the chicken till done.
In another pan, heat the butter and add the sliced Capsicum, Onion, Tomato and Green Chillies and sauté on full flame for 2 minutes. Add this to the Chicken Gravy and mix well. Garnish with chopped Kothmir.
